How to Make Cream Cheese Fruit Dip for an Appetizer (With FREE Printable Recipe!)

Sharing is caring!

This delicious cream cheese fruit dip recipe is a yummy companion for apples, strawberries, and other fruits.  You can serve it as an appetizer at your next family gathering, alongside your own family dinner, or just have it for a tasty afternoon snack all by yourself!  (I recently discovered it also is amazing on toast or warm rolls!)

I couldn’t really say where I got this recipe…I have had it for years.  I keep it in my “favorite recipe” binder that I have.  (I’ll have to show it to you sometime.  It’s such a great collection with protected pages so that they don’t get yucky if I spill on them while I’m cooking!)

How to Make Fruit Dip

  • A few hours before you are going to make the dip, you will want to set the cream cheese out on the counter so that it can soften.

  • In a medium-sized bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth.

  • Next, blend in the brown sugar and vanilla.   Continue to mix until it is nice and smooth.

  • Chill the dip in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
