How to Make Strawberry Fluff Dessert

Barbecue and picnic season is upon us, so I want to share with you this yummy recipe for Strawberry Fluff Dessert.   My mom makes this often for family gatherings.  She calls it a fruit salad.

 

(I call it a dessert, mostly because every ingredient, except for the fresh strawberries, sounds like it should be a dessert.  Call it whatever you like, but you can definitely call this Strawberry Fluff Dessert amazing!)

 

This refreshing dessert is creamy and sweet.  And let’s be honest…you can’t go wrong with fresh strawberries!  It makes a great side dish for any gathering.  Be sure to give this a try!

Strawberry Fluff Dessert Ingredients

1 large box of vanilla cook ‘n serve pudding

1 six ounce package strawberry jello

1 eight ounce container of cool whip

1 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows

1 pound fresh strawberries, stems removed and chopped

2 cups boiling water

 

How to Make Strawberry Fluff Dessert

  • Wash the fresh strawberries, then pat them dry with a paper towel.

  • Chop the strawberries into bite-sized chunks (see the picture below).  Set the strawberry chunks aside.

  • Heat the pudding mix, jello mix, and water in a medium size sauce pan over medium high heat until boiling, stirring frequently.  Once it has come to a boil, remove the mixture from heat and pour it into a large mixing bowl.

 

  • Refrigerate until it starts to gel (about an hour or so).

 

  • Fold in the cool whip and beat until it is creamy.

 

  • Next, fold in the mini marshmallows and the strawberries.

 

  • Garnish with sliced strawberries if you like.  Chill for 1-2 hours.  When you are done, your strawberry fluff dessert should look something like this:
